1. Firstly we will soak the chana dal overnite 2. In the pan put one tbsp of oil when hot add mustard seeds after they have popped up add curry leaves add chana dal and salt to taste fry the dal till it leaves oil

Serve for idli/dosa ,it taste good with andhra pesrattu also. This chutney is one form of eating ,if don't like the aroma of ginger it will be difficult for you to eat this,in that case add little jaggery with it
